Silver Proof Set and Mint Set Melt Values (Live Prices)
The totals below only represent the melt value using the live silver price, it does not include any numismatic or collectible premium. The "Other FV" column represents the face value of the non-silver coins. The "Low Auctions" links are the current low-priced auctions for that category of sets on eBay. Special thanks to the Mint News Blog for their article on proof set melt values and how to properly display them in the table below.

Does Your Proof Set or Mint Set Have Additional Numismatic Value or Premium?
Some sets, or individual coins within a set, may have a significant numismatic premium on top of the melt value. For example, at the summer 2011 ANA show in Chicago, a 1975 "No S" proof dime sold for $349,600. The PCGS price guide offers two pages on current proof/mint set values:
Also consider visiting the Collectors Corner Proof and Mint Sets page to view what PCGS-authorized dealers currently have for sale.
Current Silver Proof Set eBay Auctions
There are usually thousands of current listings for proof and mint sets on eBay during any given day. Even if you're not interested in buying, eBay is an excellent place to view completed listings to understand current premiums (which can fluctuate wildly at times).
